Wording Guide is committed to keeping this site privacy-respecting and easy to understand. This page explains, in plain language, what data the site collects, what it does with that data, and what your rights are.

What we collect directly

Wording Guide itself does not collect any personally identifying information. We do not require accounts, do not run an email newsletter at this time, and do not store comments. The site renders pages from a static dataset and an HTML template; we keep no per-user state on our servers.

Third-party advertising

This site does not currently display third-party advertising. If advertising is ever introduced, this policy will be updated first to describe the networks involved and your opt-out options.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard server logs (IP address, user-agent, requested URL, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention. These logs are rotated and discarded on a short cycle and are not used to build user profiles.

Cookies

Wording Guide itself sets no cookies, and no third-party advertising or analytics scripts run on the site.

Children's privacy

Wording Guide is a general-audience reference site and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any data from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
